German wafer manufacturer Infineon CEO Peter Bauer said Friday, as walking out of the depth of the semiconductor industry downturn, the outlook for the next few years is quite good.
Bauer In an interview with Germany's Handelsblatt (Handelsblatt) an interview, said, "If the global economy does not face serious disruption, the semiconductor industry, the situation of the next three to four years should be good."
He added that the industry has, there are three trends: the contract-assembly business has become more important, wafer manufacturing division of labor is more refined, and some areas of the merger will lead to a critical heavyweight enterprises today.
